Where the numbers come from

  • Real questions, not prompts you write. Every category has a fixed set of the questions merchants ask, asked the same way for every app in it. Nobody gets a friendlier question.
  • Several assistants, repeated. ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, with and without web search, asked more than once, because the same question does not give the same answer twice.
  • Already measured. This reads a run we have already paid for, so it is free and instant. It is not live: every result says which run it is from.
  • Your numbers are yours. Anybody can see which band an app is in. Exact figures need the app to be on a published leaderboard, or an email at the domain your listing links to.
